But the random data is transmitted in the clear, so it can be dangerous to load a crypto engine with data from that site, since a listener may pick up all random data.
A number of motherboards have hardware random number generators making use of oscillators affected by thermal noise. They may require whitening, but you have a random source that the outside world can't see (unless errors in OS or configuration of OS). |
