I've had repeated bad experience with vendors based in Guangdong. As a consequence, I don't buy from vendors located there. In fact, I'm really suspicious of any hardware vendor in the PRC, as their notion of fair practice is different from ours. Whereas for us, shipping a brick would be considered fraud, for them it's just clever marketing.
Oddly enough, contract manufacturing is quite different, though I've never done anything of that sort with a contractor in Guangdong. RE |
