Maybe you could post a link or two to the kind of USB Data card you are considering using. This way folks won't have to be guessing as to just what hardware you need. As far as the PC "mapping the card into COM port" to be aware that a good part of that mapping is handled by the Windows or Linux drivers that the vendor provides to support their device under the operating system. You may want to consider looking to see if you can find a USB data card that has an open source Linux driver with it that you could peel apart and re-adapt to your ARM environment. Michael Karas |
