I normally use ATMega8 and ATMega16 The price of atmega8 is tripled and it is not available with most of the wholesellers im dealing with The lead time of atmega16 is 12 weeks and the price is bit hiked(i got this quote from atmel dealer) I posted the same query in the avrfreaks and no one is giving the proper reason. Most of the dudes point out onlinestores like mouser that they are having stocks in 1000's. The price of such stores is very high compared to my whole sale agent. They may be useful for hobby people. Andy is correct, i should had selected more than a manufacturer. Atmel enlightened me now. Nandhu |
