#176054 - When comments go wrong
I have just been sent someones code to fix today and its covered in comments, so I just stripped all the comments out and was able to see what was going wrong.
The golden rule is:- only put comments in your code when its not clear what is going on,or there is some non-obvious side effect, nothing else I don't need to be told that a clock signal is a clock.
