#175933 - Light at the end of tunnel.. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Or so it looks !Thanks Andy and Andrew for your help.
Well I am now narrowing down on a National Instruments PCI-8511 card for the CANopen inteface. And NI also has a "CANopen Library" which has all required functions to develop code for the interface. BUT and this is a big one, the CANopen Library supports DS301 but does NOT support .eds files. While I am in touch with NI customer support, I am also trying to figure out what could be the implications. Possibly the automatic parsing of SDO and PDO files will not happen ? In this scene what am I supposed to do to interface a DS306 and DS408 product ? ( Sorry - this is a topic to be handled in the NI forum - but frankly there have been no response to my query there and I am running short on time) Raghu |
