Not passives, of course, but a device similar to a "universal" programmer, the purpose of which was to stimulate a device marked as, "ABC1234..." with vectors corresponding to "ABC1234..." in order to increase confidence that the device was not only what it claimed based on its label, but functional as well.
Not an easy task ... Asian vendors were finding that it was easy to sell "relabelled" parts, and it was difficult for the purchaser to reverse the process. RE |
