#174044 - You can try Power Integrations
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi,
I have designed and used SMPS using Controller IC from Power Integrations.
They helped me design one for my own requirement and has worked out pretty well. I have sold my products using the very same SMPS since last 1.5 years and only 1 had come back for repairs...(In-rush current problem, There was thread a few days back regarding this.)

Recently, I designed an SMPS of the rating of 24V,1Amps. and that too has worked in 1 shot.

I downloaded their design software, refered to their app.notes, designed the PCB, and got the components. After careful, assembling it has worked in 1 shot without any smoke. Later I did a lot of tests on this and found it working OK for my requirement. I will be sending it for further tests to get the certifications, etc.
