#172213 - Always lots of problems when snow falls where not expected Responding to: ???'s previous message |
We currently have about 70cm snow (got 38cm within 24 hours about a week ago) and a chilly -24C/-11F. The wind has slowed down but earlier this week it was 14m/s which (with 90% humitidy) quickly cools off the face - with wind chill factor -31C/-24F.
Both amount of snow and temperature are quite normal for us, this time of year, and we have quite a lot of snow plows so even when we got 38cm snow in less than 24 hours, most roads was open. The city buses have had two or three days where they have had shorter disruptions. |
