It was to sense how hard Car brake was pressed in contrast to obstacle distance . It worked good (judgemental work) and we didnt thought about any other solution .

I don't have a specific application!

As I said, I'm after a site or report or something that gives a reound-up of the various available solutions, comparing and contrasting the merits & demerits of each one.

In other words, some objective information on which one could base a decision if one did have an application and was trying to select an appropriate solution (or, at least, short-list potential candidates)
