i bought a top2005 universal and it quit after one month use reason= can't program mcu only digital device checking possible ! got no services, web site down!! so i bought a Xeltek 580 and it work ok. More over the cheapies only work with limited number of chips analize their device list and you'll see 100bucks is still 100 bucks right? I agree with Vu -- at a previous job I bought an EETols TopMax programmer of some flavor, and I had an issue that required tech support. The woman who answered the phone there was the nastiest person I've ever had to deal with. I think we ended up sending the damn thing back. So, EETools can go fsck themselves. And since everything I've done since is JTAG or some other ISP, I haven't needed a standalone programmer. -a |
