#170036 - 5V high for TTL Responding to: ???'s previous message |

I've noticed one thing in recent years that goes directly to your original question. Nowadays, when the manufacturer intends to specify 5V logic, they use something like the phrase "TTL logic level" as opposed to simply "logic level." The phrase "TTL," not "logic level," tells you that it's 5V. Except of course that a traditional TTL solution doesn't manage 5V on the output, but requires you to switch to CMOS ;) |

My take on it is datasheet time | 01/01/70 00:00
Don't they specify this in the first place? | 01/01/70 00:00
No, they don't | 01/01/70 00:00

I think that shows that they generally don't! | 01/01/70 00:00
