#168548 - Need more information
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi Chico,

Assuming you're using an 8052 derivative, you shouldn't need pull up resistors on P1. You'll only need those on P0.

Also assuming that you haven't shorted any of your traces to each other, there are a number of things that could be wrong. Are you current limiting your supply when you engage the switches? And do you have a good reset supervisor or are you using that RC circuit for power on reset?

I would suggest that you post your code. Be sure to read up on how to do so, and specifically how to preserve the formatting, first.

Joe

P.S. Does "hola" mean hello in Portugese? I don't really think it does, but asking seemed an easy segway into this question. If not, what is Portugese for "hello?"
