#168052 - Also >= 256kB flash
Responding to: ???'s previous message
The minimum footprint is 64KB RAM, 256KB Flash.

And they note that it isn't a real-time OS, but can be hosted on a RTOS.

Sounds like you get one or more macro-programmable worker threads that you have to cram together with a real RTOS, or settle for a system where you will have to keep buttons pressed until you hear the confirming beep. The faster ARM9 can obviously take a lot of abuse, but it must be a testing nightmare if we get non-deterministic ARM7 systems with memory garbage collect.

A funny note that shows how experienced they are with embedded processors is that they say they don't expect the processor to have an external Memory Management Unit (MMU). A number of ARM chips have an internal MMU, but I don't think I have ever seen a processor using an external MMU, if we ignore the CPU-on-a-board (or maybe I should say CPU-is-a-board) type of processors common in older multi-user machines - mini computers and larger.
