You might consider disabling the wireless capability of the ADSL router (if that's possible) and attach it to the AP2100, then allow the AP2100 to function as your access point. IIRC, the '2100 has a detachable antenna, so if you need a better antenna, or simply a better location for it, you can move the antenna with the aid of a cable. IIRC, you sometimes get about as much gain from a better antenna as you lose due to the cable. However, the improved location of the antenna may be enough to make your system work. You then won't need it to function as a repeater, but, rather as your primary wireless access point.
