Do you mean writing the program (source code) for the 89S52? With a "good knowledge of assembly language", it shouldn't be hard to adapt to the specifics of the 8051 instruction set... Or do you mean "programming" (or "blowing") that code into the 89S52's physical code memory? I have good knowledge of electronics So you should know how 7-segment LEDs work, temperature sensors, etc?
