I need just RS-232 Literally change The RS-232 reprogramming to USB reprogramming. Is the FTDI solution flexibility an advantage here? The only other thing I would need is to determine which port is mine I assume I would just go through the list looking for My ID.
In a related note I assume each comes with its own VID and PID . And I would have to by my own from USB.ORG if I needed my own. Or can you one them cheaper another way.
And does using these chips allow you to use the USB Logo, or only if you pay for certification?
