I need just RS-232 Literally change The RS-232 reprogramming to USB reprogramming. Is the FTDI solution flexibility an advantage here? The only other thing I would need is to determine which port is mine I assume I would just go through the list looking for My ID.
In a related note I assume each comes with its own VID and PID . And I would have to by my own from USB.ORG if I needed my own. Or can you one them cheaper another way. And does using these chips allow you to use the USB Logo, or only if you pay for certification? "Windows PC may exhibit the occasional odd bit of behaviour" Windows? I had not noticed. |
