I have no idea what "bulk" has to do with it!

Is this a common usage around the world?
Or is it just something that hasn't translated well?

And it remains unclear what "something like" actually means - is it a torch?
Is it just the lamp assembly salvaged from a scrap torch?
Is it not a torch at all, but just something that bears some resemblance to one?
Or what?

Does it matter? Precision doesn't seem to enter anywhere else into this scheme!
