Glass filters is the best (?) choice for a good sensor, since the ageing is low and you can get them with good optical tolerances and little variation in transfer function.
But in this case, I would think glass filters are too expensive. Jacksons duality is that he wants it REALLY good and REALLY cheap. These two do not go together. If he would state "I want cheap crap" or "I want good, and as inexpensive as possible while good" it would be easier to suggest. Erik |
