#165677 - Proportional voltage conversion... |
Hi. I'm working with a sensor that has an output voltage ranging from 0 to supply voltage where the supply voltage is from 4.5v to 10v. I want to use this as the input to an ADC on a LPC935, so I need to translate the voltage to give a range of 0-3v (I'm intending to supply the sensor with 5v).
My immediate thought was to use a pair of resistors in a potential divider circuit, but I'm not sure that there isn't a better method of doing this. Any thoughts? Thanks, Rob. |
