even I use 'acs756' in my current sensor board..
only thing is that the input terminals must not touch the PCB.they are to be connected to the inputs externally.
also you require to use an op amp with enough gain.

this is a far better solution than the using transformers or
shunt resistors(where the power dissipation is high).
