See a forum as a resource when you are stuck. Not as a magic bag of pre-chewed solutions. A forum helps you, if you work on helping yourself.

Trying to get the forum to help without showing own work is a bit dangerous. The people who can help may decide to ignore you. You must make it worth other peoples time to help you. It may be worth it to help someone who is stuck to get further. It is never worth it to help someone do what they should have done in the first place - invest own time and effort.
