Atmel Announces Sale of Manufacturing Operation in Heilbronn, Germany
Heilbronn was the headquarters of the then Temic, which brought (among other chips) the higher-end '51-s into Atmel's portfolio (e.g. the Atmel's version of the RD2 family, USB and CAN versions, etc.). However, AFAIK, these are manufactured elsewhere. JW |
