http://datasheets.maxim-ic.com/en/ds/ICL7109.pdf Another hint: Keep this darn thing well away from mains transformers!! We had an application where the ADC had a small transformer in his back. We couldn't get stable readings! As shielding wasn't a cure, you can assume that magnetic fields hitting this ADC results in trouble. Concerning polycarbonate caps: Some years ago, Bayer AG stopped the fabrication of polycarbonate foil. Since that time some manufacturers of caps do no longer fabricate polycarbonate caps.
