#158114 - Low dielectric storage capacitors |
Anyone have any suggestions for replacing Polycarbonate capacitors for an ADC ? We use the old reliable accurate 7109 ADC for some of our kit, but the integrating and Autozero caps are specced as polycarbs, because they don't return charge from their dielectrics when they are discharged - unlike electrolytics taking an extreme example.
Polycarbs are unobtainable from the usual UK sources (Farnell, RS) The old design specced Polycarbonate, teflon or polystyrene types, but I can't find any notes on modern types like PPS for properties like dielectric storage. Can anyone offer any advice ? Steve |
