#158087 - how do you use it?
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Sorry for hijacking this thread, Erik, but I would like to ask you and others to explain, how exactly do you use this sort of software. I don't need to list what is possible - I have read and been preached about them extensively enough in the past, yet never gained from them enough to justify the trouble (mainly SVN, a little bit CVS). I am interested in your personal experience.

I admit most of the projects I was working on was a one-man job, even if extensive; and/or the interfaces to other's work was simple and clean enough to be passed on a sheet of paper or in a simple header file. Hence, for purposes of archiving I am well off with zip and copy; and once the changes justify it, with manual changing the version number.

Thanks,

JW
