I have got intel 8275 crt controller but the problem is we can display only text on monochrome monitor is there any such ic that can be interfaced to color monitor As you've said, the 8275 is what you've got. It is optimized, and therefore somewhat limited in its capabilities, to be used with i8080 and i8085 type microprocessors. In reality, it didn't even do that very well. I think you'd find another type, e.g. MC6845 somewhat easier to use. Efficient use of a VGA requires not only a CRTC capable of producing the proper timing, however, but a 3-color RAMDAC capable of producing the desired hues. It also requires a significant amount of memory. Have you considered all that? There are ways to make this work, but it's not going to be simple or in any way straightforward. If you really want to do this then come back here and say so. I know it's hard getting past all the naysayers, who immediately want you to do what they know how to do, but your problem can be solved.
