#156717 - Standards
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Who sets the standards for schematic symbols? isn't there a body like IEEE or something?
looks like there is no standard, some people draw capacitor with curved line and others with straight line.
If it was left to me I would make the symbol for the capacitor representing its type, like one for ciramic capacitor, other for electrolytic and different symbol for tantalum etc...

      Isn't it supposed to denote...            01/01/70 00:00
Your symbol is rather small ... but ...            01/01/70 00:00
No - it's definitely some sort of capacitor            01/01/70 00:00
They surely do look like that, don\'t they?            01/01/70 00:00
            I don\'t think so.            01/01/70 00:00
