The turns ratio is 230:9, and the secondary is rated for 9 mA. The effective load on the bridge is 18 Kohm, so the secondary current should be about 0.5 mA. The transformer is rated at .9 VA, so it's running well below that. In fact, I finally heard back from the manufacturer and the only suggestion they had was to reduce the load to about 3 kohm because the transformer "doesn't like to be lightly loaded". Haven't been able to try that yet. |
