Unfortunately, one then has to choose between software that works, or hardware that makes it possible to see.
The old DOS-based software still does WAY more and does it WAY faster, and does it right ... but it doesn't work at wide-screen LCD resolutions. I still like my 20" tubes, several of 'em, at 1600x1200 (Yes, I need special "tube" glasses) ... with a full-screen option of 1024x768 for the DOS programs. When they get Windows settled down to where it can do things other than running "Office" maybe it'll be time for a switch. RE |
