not necessarily 'cheap' but small and reliable. the zero crossing also kills a lot of EMI a regular relay would make.
as an example http://www.components.omron.com/component...E_0607.pdf $20 at digikey. to find more www.digikey.com - relay - solid state - whatever you want for parametres. Erik PS my experience tells me that the 'rating for 'surge current' is very important. |
