on how much experience You have on building these - and on how big You want the thing to be.
The lower the frequency the bigger transformer You are going to need. I usually stay at the 100KHz region to keep the transformer reasonably small. This however requires a thoroughly thought layout. It also requires good drive of the MOSFET. As said - it depends. I would try 50KHz and if feeling lucky - raise it to 100 KHz .. |
