I am sure there are lots of ready made kits out there but I would like to go at it from scratch both on hardware and software front. Hardware is not appearing as very tough right now. But the one thing that is going to be tough is the routing algorithm for the mouse. Frankly I do not know where to start ! Any links to some sites that discuss the pros and cons of various ideas on this ? Hi Raghu, Don't know about kits for any of it. You could use an 8 bitter, or something with more "grunt" like a Mini-itx or an ARM - MITey mouse uses a Harddisk controller processor. Didn't I post some other links to a site discussing navigation ? There is a algorithm based on "flooding" the maze from the start and following the flow of "water" to the centre (the drain) Try this for a start - I googled Micromouse Algorithms http://micromouse.cannock.ac.uk/maze/solving.htm Steve |
