That's definitely not true. I'd agree that there's more development done in 'C' these days, but just yesterday I received email from a company that was looking for people with heavy 8051 assembly language experience. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I'm booked and not looking to relocate. Otherwise it would've been really interesting.
