#148043 - Parts in the tray backwards?
Responding to: ???'s previous message
It is always a challenge to keep parts oriented correctly, especially with the laser marking that is frequently used.

If you had parts in the tray backwards, or the tray inserted backwards, them you could blow them up.

ESD usually results in a leaky input.

A Vdd transient during testing (including using the wrong board test program with a bed of nails tester) is also possible.
