Richard seems to be suggesting that anything you get out of Eagle is likely to be unusable anyhow, so you might as well just re-draw it in Protel...?
I have no idea how complicated the schematic to be converted is, but 'redrawing' IS error prone. Were I to redraw something made by another schematic capture program, I would first generate ORCAD components with the pins in the same location as the original schematic to make the inspection more certain. NO, I would not make the components from scratch - another error gtenerator - I would copy the ORCAD components and move the pins. Erik |
