The inherent problem with 8052.com conferences, I think, is that the userbase is so completely scattered around the world that it's hard to find a place that everyone can easily (and economically) meet at. Most 8052.com members are not from the U.S., most aren't from Europe, most aren't from Asia. And most of us are either too busy (in the case of professionals) or too poor (in the case of students, and some of us professionals, too) to jet around the world on a whim. I propose we do one in the U.S. next time. How many people would be interested in getting together in Las Vegas sometime in the next 3-6 months? Or some other U.S. venue?
