Hi Steve,
Whether he reinvented something, or just came up with a more restricted application, he came up with it independently. And for that he's entitled to some degree of credit. I can assure you that if he hadn't discovered he was doing Kalman Filtering, and one of his committee members picked up on it, they would have taken him to task regardless the number of DOFs. Joe |
