Hi to all members:

I have a problem with viewing dvd movies on my playstation 2 when their is macrovision on the dvd. I called 800 number for sony and the tech some movies would play ok as long is their is no macrovision on them. The setup I use is playstation 2 goes through my vcr so I can use inferrad transmitter to send audio to my receiving headset which works great since I have hearing problem. I do not want turn up volume on tv so others in my family can hear programs at normal volume. I should also mention I have playstation 2 with infarred receiver build in it. So I purchased infarred remote control for it and it works great. And yes I have large dvd player and recorder unit but it big and will not fit next to tv on dresser. I did not realize the problem till I play few dvd movies. That's my probelm I am trying to correct. I do not need the vcr at all if I can find a work around for video and audio connections. I am also not interested in cable tv part as I only want to play movies. The thing that is nice about playstation 2 player is it only 9"x6"x1" which is really nice size. Is their any commerical unit I can purchase that will allow me send the infarred signal to my receiver headset? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I just though of this while typing this post. Could leave audio connected to vcr and use video converter for the tv. I just put video box behind the dresser?

P.S. I will be moving so I do not want another tv with a video output.
