K&R is an excellent reference not a good study book. For someone with no prior programming experience at all, I also wouldn't recommend K&R. But for someone already experience in HLL programming in another language (eg, Pascal), it should be perfectly fine. As a reference, of course, K&R is a must for any 'C' programmer! |
