<shameless self-advertisement>For comparison of "cycle structure" of different implementations of single- and four-clockers, see the table somewhere at my 8052.com homepage*. However, for fast cycle counting, use the cycle counting feature in Jeff Post's disassembler - there is a support for external cycle count files built in.</shameless self-advertisement>
JW --- * there is an error in the "mini-benchmark" there for the silabs singleclocker - the count is added up incorrectly, it is NOT that fast, it is similar than the others - some 40% "cycle penalty" compared to the vanilla. I was lazy to correct it so far... |
