#139973 - call a meeting Responding to: ???'s previous message |
about reducing meetings. :)
I do agree, albeit, fortunately, not working in a meeting heavy environment, that meetinga about what we should do if not in meetings are ridiculous. We have, here introduced a 'floating participance' weekly meeting idea, management is there from 9 to 12 and when Tom and Dick are done Harry is called. I used to be that everybody had to sit there from 9 to 12 - no more. I sometimes do 3 stints (one with Tom, one with Dick and one alone) but that still is far better than sitting there listening to them drone about something you are not involved with. Erik |
