This is why I prefer small teams over large ones. I seldom assign more than two people to a task, and try NEVER to schedule meetings amongst the various teams on a large project. They all simply communicate through me.
If I'm not smart enough to DO every task, then I'm not competent to select the people who will do it. Hence, I'm seldom unable to steer the progress of the project. It's not everybody's style, but it's mine. Like most engineers, I hate meetings. RE |
