Thanks Jez and David. The hot air gun sounds cool. I'm looking at a 5 mm x 5 mm QFN right now (C8051f330) and cp2102 (slightly larger QFN). The 5x5 has 20 pins. At that pitch should a hot air gun still be able to do the trick? What temperature were you running it at? Thanks a lot,
