#137236 - Extending battery life Responding to: ???'s previous message |
It should be obvious that there are two ways to extend the life of a battery:
1. Use a bigger (ie, higher-capacity) battery; 2. Reduce the power drawn by your system. Of course, combining both will give the most gain! Again, it comes back to considering the requirements of your system: I said:
So what is your real requirement here?
Is it just to give sufficient time to allow the user to finish whatever they were doing? Does it need to continue in full operation, or could it go into a low-power mode to maximise battery life? etc, etc... http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=135697 |
