The 1-Wire Appnotes show some simple roll-your-own interfaces that should be good for 300m or so (they say).
For really long distances, you need the strong pullup and slew-rate limiting. I used just the normal Open-Drain output of an LPC932 to do about 20m - driving some flashing lights on the "Christmas Tree" at the end of our garden... |
