#136633 - What was the virtue of their decision? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Craig,
What was the virtue of their choice? What did they accomplish? I'm all for the least government, for that level of government which is minimally necessary. But I don't see how Google accomplished anything except to abet predatory pedophiles in this country, and empirically demonstrate their own hypocracy in Red China. So please, if they did take some moral stand, if they somehow defended some great principle of freedom, please explain it to me. In my estimation the only consistent explanation of their behavior is that they will, at every turn, pander to the lowest and most vile common denominator in order to make a buck, and in point of fact have done just that. Moreover, they will say whatever they need to, even to the point of making themselves liars, in an effort to obfuscate their own hypocracy. So please explain why I am wrong. I have no illusion of always being right, and I do appreciate the correction of friends. In the meantime I will stick with ask.com. |
