Reason / logic is a great tool for proving what is. It in itself is not what is, only a way to rationalize what is.
Wasting time, using reason and logic to disprove what is, for the sake of disproving it, can be deemed "mental masturbation" - It may feel good, but doesn't produce anything usable... An example in falacy logic: If a cat has one tail more than no cat, and no cat has 8 tails, then a cat must have 9 tails...right? Finally, truth is truth - it doesn't change because of how it's described or discounted. -db |
