hi,
I am designing a ac motor speed controller. And I have an autotransformer in supply line to the motor so that initially the ac voltage is low (so as no to blow the ac motor during startup). But the autotransformer is bulky and I would like to have a control circuit using SCR and microcontroller to work in place of this autotransformer. Is there any commercial product/board which makes SCR controlled starter for the ac motor? I tried google but I couldnt get any good results. thanks |
