... are mostly based on the old HP thinkjet cartridge (which is therefore still readily available). The older ones were driven off a PIA (8255 IIRC), so I assume wouldn't be too hard to interface.
The ink on those would throw a good six inches or so, and still print legibly. >>edit: It's based on the HP92261A cartridge, and it looks as though the cartridge only needs a dozen or so connections to work. |
